the initiation of this yahoo group thingy is due to the sending of emails regarding urgent and important class issues- such as cny stalls/class fund/huangcheng to so many adresse at one go. Creating this group makes the job of spreading messages around easier-> by sending to blahblahblah@groups.yahoo.com, the messages will pop up in everyone's own mail inbox. of course I fully agree that blog conveys message faster than any mail system- provided all members do check up the blog daily as they do brush their teeth.
